Found bookshelves and puzzle; paper, paracord

Description:

I salvaged two bookshelf pieces and a puzzle from the curb. The puzzle fit approximately in half on the boards so I created a collage with vibrant images from a Playboy magazine and an orchid book behind them. These themes and images connect back to my Dollhouse Self-Portrait work: sexuality, gender, time, and being childfree by choice. The work is finished off in the corners by decorative knots created by the capable hands of my husband, Nathan.
