The beaches are still gorgeous, but susceptible to red tide, pollution, erosion, and hurricanes. The former swing state has favored gun freedom, zero property tax, car culture, overreliance on tourism, poor education outcomes, and disbelief in human-led climate change despite being hot as hell 9 months out of the year.
