The price tag does not come off to represent the permanent price we pay for our inaction on climate change. We can clearly see the effects today (wildfires, floods, polar vortex, record temperatures) but not enough is changing (or breaking) the system to prevent catastrophic consequences. Best we can do is thoughts and prayers.
